A WHITEWARE ROPE FLASK

17TH CENTURY

HEIGHT: 8.7CM

The flask is thinly-potted with a moulded and incised decoration imitating basketweave with two small rope handles flanking the neck. A translucent glaze of warm ivory colour covers the entire vessel, after Ding Wares of the Song dynasty.
